We focus on changing attitudes about our region and generating economic impact by exploring the intersection of art, technology & industry, and animating unexpected spaces with world-class experiences. Through our annual IngenuityFest, year-round programming, and educational outreach, we inspire and engage our audiences, push boundaries, and empower communities.

And we’re looking for someone new! Apply to join our team today! Forget running for coffees or making copies. Ingenuity Cleveland offers a hands-on experience. You’ll be working one-on-one with a small team to produce one of Cleveland’s largest events.

We are seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented individuals with excellent organizational skills and the flexibility to work across a range of job functions, including on-site and administrative needs. Ingenuity’s success is based on a highly collaborative team that includes staff and board members plus a network of trusted contractors, volunteers, community leaders and service providers working to create programming that is highly responsive to a wide range of circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Identifies with our mission
  • Organized, Punctual, & Responsible
  • Preferably has access to a car
  • Willing to use personal laptop for work
  • Flexible schedule: this internship is part-time (approximately 15-20 hours a week), but may increase later in the summer.
  • Available to help through the Festival (September 23-25)
  • Bonus points if you’ve attended the Festival in previous years
  • More bonus points if you have basic graphic design skills

We have two opportunities currently available:

Graphic Design and Marketing Intern:  responsibilities will vary from day to day with a range of long and short-term projects. Tasks may include data-base organization and management, maintaining communications with Festival participants, various graphic design projects, writing blogs, some social media assistance and website (WordPress) work.

Production Assistant Intern: responsibilities will vary from day to day with a range of long and short-term projects. Tasks may include coordinate among Festival participants, program director and production manager, as well as other team members, in addition to managing a variety of duties that support key event logistics with regard to: equipment and infrastructure procurement, vendor and rental communications, and onsite event needs. Helpful but not necessary: some event, theatrical, music or nonprofit production experience.
