Location & Parking:
IngenuityFest is located at 5401 Hamilton Avenue. Please refer to the map below for parking options in the neighborhood as well as entrances to the festival. There is no entrance on Hamilton Avenue, only E 53rd Street and Marquette Avenue. There is ample free street parking as well as our paid general parking lot ($5 per day).
*BIKE PARKING* We encourage attendees to ride their bikes down to the event. Bike rack will be provided at the 53rd Street gate only. A slow roll will depart from the Marquette gate on Saturday at 2 pm, returning to the 53rd Street gate at 4 pm.
For people with disabilities arriving by shuttle, taxi, Uber, accessible transport van or private vehicle, a reserved ADA drop off zone will be located at the Main Festival entrance on 53rd street.
Accessible parking spaces will also be reserved in the Staff/VIP/Artist lot nearest the main 53rd street entrance on Hamilton. Additional off-site parking will be provided in a section of Ingenuity’s general audience parking. We continue to identify and address challenges to accessibility on our site, including providing elevator service to the 2nd floor, patching asphalt, and widening doorways.
Our event site is a former industrial site which does include rough surfaces, uneven flooring, and other potential hazards, and we have made efforts to identify and address areas of concern. We have do recommend visitors wear sturdy shoes (rather than high heels or flip flops) and dress in layers, as our old warehouse can be hot or cold, depending on the weather!
