Ingenuity Programming in Shaker Heights’ Moreland Neighborhood to Focus on Artists

Cleveland, OH (July 6, 2016) – Ingenuity is offering artist-focused programming as part of a new initiative the City of Shaker Heights has undertaken to revitalize the Moreland neighborhood. The initiative aims to attract target businesses and potential residents to the area, create vibrancy in the neighborhood, and build community. The Ingenuity partnership produces programs that will draw interest in the area.
Programming begins with two artist focus groups. More events will be announced soon and will continue through 2016.
The first two panels are from 6-8 pm at The Dealership, 3558 Lee Rd. Attendees will discuss:

  • The Artist’s Role in Neighborhood Development: What You Want to See on July 14
  • Artist as Businessperson: How to Market Yourself and get Paid on August 4

Events are free, but seating is limited so registration is required.

“We’re so excited to partner with the City of Shaker Heights on this initiative. Through these artist focus groups we will engage regional artists in the broader discussion on housing and developing their business — which we feel will be extremely valuable to the creative community,” said Paula Grooms, Ingenuity Executive Director.
